60th Wedding Gift to Benefit Students at Hardin-Simmons

Abilene, TX— This year marks the 60th wedding anniversary for Dr. Bill and Alice Wright, longtime supporters of Hardin-Simmons University, and the cultural affairs of Abilene and Texas.
To honor this special occasion Dr. Wright gave Hardin-Simmons a $100,000 gift in the name of his spouse. The Alice Wright Scholars Endowment is a scholarship program that will reward undergraduate women who are studying in the fields of mathematics, science or humanities.
