Aaron Nunn


Aaron S. Nunn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor, and is currently employed as the Field Director of Social Work Education at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas.  Mr. Nunn has worked with traumatized youth in a variety of settings, including boy’s ranches, a county juvenile justice center, and MHMR. Mr. Nunn has provided individual, group, and family psychotherapy to traumatized youth and their families to address issues related to trauma. Mr. Nunn is trained in EMDR therapy, Trauma Focused-CBT, and psychodynamic psychotherapy for the treatment of trauma.  Mr. Nunn is a Veteran of the US Navy and completed two deployments post 911. Mr. Nunn’s most recent clinical experience focused on trauma treatment of his fellow Veterans at the Waco VA Inpatient Psychiatric Unit in Waco, Texas. Mr. Nunn is an Alumni of Hardin-Simmons graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Behavioral Science in 2008. Mr. Nunn completed his 2009, receiving a Master of Social Work from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX.
