Christopher Jones is the head Junior Varsity football coach.

Jones earned a BBA from HSU in 2007, majoring in sports fitness.

He has previously been a graduate assistant at HSU and at Sam Houston State University.

He is earning a master’s degree from Sam Houston State.

Jeremy Maynard is the supervisor of the History Center.

Maynard came to HSU as a freshman in the fall of 2004 earning a BBS in 2008, with a double major in psychology and history.  

Maynard says he enjoys playing hockey and listening to blues and classic rock.

Elisabeth Miller is a professor of nursing at PHSSN.

Miller comes with 24 years of nursing experience.

She has worked as a nurse in critical care, neonatal intensive care, and endocrinology.

She holds a 2005 BSN from McMurry University and an MSN as a family nurse practitioner from Abilene Christian University in 2007.

Cody Neinast is the assistant to the associate dean of Logsdon Seminary.

Neinast worked as a youth minister at Crosspoint Fellowship Church and was a manager at Winner’s Circle Trophies.

He holds a BA in youth ministries from HSU with a minor in art, graduating in 2007. He was a member of the Cowboy Band and still plays guitar and bass.

He is married to Abby Neinast in enrollment services.

Richard Perez is a sergeant with the HSU police department.

He has completed 25 years in law enforcement and comes to HSU from Western Texas College.

Perez holds an associate degree in law enforcement from Midland College, graduating in 1986.

He enjoys golf, football, and basketball and is a member of Kiwanis.

Barbara Stafford is an assistant professor of nursing at PHSSN.

Stafford has been working in nursing education since 1989. Her area of specialization is in mental health and geriatrics.

Stafford also has experience in administration at a long term care facility. She has a 1987 BSN from New Mexico State University and an MSN from the University of Texas at El Paso.

Caleb Steed is the residence hall director of Nix.

He graduated from HSU in 2009 with a BBA in finance. While he was a student, Caleb worked as an assistant in the alumni relations office.
