Are You Signed Up to Receive Campus Alerts?

If you are not receiving the weather alerts, there could be several reasons.

Thursday, February 25, 2010

  • First, check to see if you are still a valid user by going to the star at the bottom left of the HSU Homepage at www.hsutx.edu. If you appear to be a valid user, you could have a block on your phone.

  • Second, your original sign-up for the system may have expired, so you will need to go to the star on the Homepage and start the two-step procedure. In some cases, users have completed the first step, but did not complete the sign-up by entering a code sent as a text.

  • If you are not sure of something, please give Janlyn Thaxton in public relations a call or email, jthaxton@hsutx.edu. Your e-mail address can be looked up in the system to see if you are a valid user. It will say when you signed up and when your service expires.

  • HSU pays for each subscription, so please avoid signing up twice.

The Six White Horses bear the six flags which have flown over the state of Texas, representing 8 changes of sovereignty. The Six White Horses have been featured along side the Cowboy Band and have marched in parades throughout Texas and the world; in the inaugural parades of 5 American presidents, Brazil, Russia, and down famous streets as New York’s Broadway.
