Effective January 2011, Texas legislation mandates that every new student and transfer student will be required to have a Meningitis Vaccination at least 10 days prior to living in campus housing or starting classes.

Closets are 28" deep and have 2 sections, each approximately 36" wide. One section has a clothes rod and one shelf, the other has 2 shelves and 5 drawers. Each room has a built-in bulletin board, 28" x 46".   Windows are 38" wide and 60" tall. Most rooms have 2 windows, some have 3. All beds are standard twin.

Anderson Hall is equipped with a OneCard/cowboy cash operated laundry room (1.00/wash, .75/dry). The lobby offers entertainment with a full-sized pool table, pingpong table, foosball table, and surround sound entertainment system with a big screen TV, including a blu-ray player. The lobby also offers a variety of snack and soda vending machines.

 

All community areas are cleaned by HSU's housekeeping service(ABM).

Residents are allowed to have a refrigerator in their rooms but not a microwave.  There are microwaves available to residents in the dorm lobby.  All refrigerators must be 4.0 cubic feet or smaller in size.  Microfridges can be purchased directly at www.microfridge.com.  The microfridge brand is the only accepted microfridge allowed in on campus housing.  The microfridge must also be 4.0 cubic feet or smaller in size.
