Effective January 2010 Texas legislation mandates that every new student or new transfer student to any Texas University who is planning to live in campus housing will be required to have a Meningitis Vaccination at least 10 days prior to living in campus housing.

On behalf of the entire Residence Life staff, we are excited to welcome you the HSU campus! Hardin-Simmons University offers spacious, updated living arrangements to make you feel right at home at HSU. The residence life staff is comprised of the Director of Housing, 5 Residence Hall Directors, an Assistant Residence Hall Director, and 22 Resident Assistants. We are passionate about working with our students and meeting their needs.

Being comfortable and feeling at home is an important part of life outside of the classroom at HSU. HSU offers two men’s residence halls and three women’s residence halls for on campus living. Behrens and Nix halls serve as our freshmen residence halls while Anderson, Lange and Ferguson halls serve as our upperclassmen halls. Students can also look forward to residence halls coordinating activities to compliment other fun and exciting opportunities within student life.
