Purpose of the Unity Group

To promote our understanding of social and ethnic issues on campus through education and spiritual growth.

We value the realization of human dignity and the worth of every individual, not only in word but also in deed, and not only in theory but also in fact.

The Unity Group is open to all interested Hardin-Simmons students, faculty and staff regardless of race, gender, or denomination. We welcome diversity because that's what we're all about!

What We Do
We host and participate in numerous events throughout the school to celebrate various cultures. Some of these events include:

Black History Celebrations Women's Awareness Month
National Hispanic Heritage Month Cinco de Mayo Celebration
Movie Nights one Friday of every month

"For He is our peace, who has made both of us, and has broken down the middle wall of partition between us."

-Ephesians 2:14
