Club Sports

Sport Clubs are recognized student organizations that exist to promote and develop interests in a particular sport or physical activity. A club may be instructional, competitive, recreational, or may involve any combination of these. Sport Clubs are strictly voluntary. Involvement within will enhance the individual's college experience and will contribute to the overall education of the participant.

Clubs engage in a variety of fund-raisers throughout the year to supplement their accounts and to pay for trips, tournaments, races and conferences. Each club is advised by coaches with strong backgrounds in their area and are officially sponsored throughout the Rec Sports Department.

All HSU students may join or try out for a Club Sport each semester. Faculty and staff members may be allowed to participate while observing the same guidelines as the other club members.

One of my favorite things about Hardin-Simmons is the small community. I also love the diverse activities and organizations on campus that are available for students.
