What is The Student Officials Association?

Sport Officials are the lifeblood of the HSU competitive intramural program. From relatively small leagues such as Dodgeball, to the largest competitive program, Softball, healthy competition and striving for social athletic settings are the framework of the HSU Intramural Sports Program. The strong officiating component is essential to the success of a quality intramural program.

Anyone wishing to become involved is strongly invited. Work schedules are flexible, and the pay scale is from $5.85 - $7.00 an hour. Students are welcome to officiate and play the same sport (although not at the same time).

To enter the exciting and self-rewarding world of sports officiating at Hardin-Simmons, attend the officiating clinic(s) or contact the Campus Recreation office.

For more information about how to become a SOA member, contact Clay Shelton @ 671-2111.

Communication

One of my favorite things about Hardin-Simmons is the small community. I also love the diverse activities and organizations on campus that are available for students.
