Spurs Dance Team

The Spurs Dance Team is a vital part to HSU life on the 40 Acres. With two national titles and numerous UDA recognitions, the team has represented Hardin‐Simmons both on and off campus. The Spurs are a Pom Squad who perform at HSU football, basketball games, and many campus events. In addition to being known for being a traditional Pom Squad, the team performs in various events and avenues allowing them to showcase their varied types of dance talents; jazz, tap, hip hop, and more. Once a year the team performs in HSU’s All School SING, a campus wide talent show.

The Spurs are blessed to be apart of the HSU and Abilene community. The team is active in volunteering their time and efforts where needed and are honored to be ambassadors for Hardin‐Simmons University for over a decade. The Spurs are a team of HSU’s leaders, active students, and young ladies who seek to strengthen their walk with Christ through team fellowship while at Hardin‐Simmons University.
