I am very family oriented. My faith in God, my family, my friends, and a positive outlook on life along with a good work ethic are very important to me. I had the opportunity to fulfill a dream of mine to work at Disney World in entertainment upon graduating from HSU. The dream had to be cut a month short due to complications in surgery that my younger brother endured, that made my mother and him stay four months longer than anticipated at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Ft. Worth. Back in Abilene, my father and I helped keep the family business running until my mother, the owner, came back home with my brother (who is doing very well, by the way). It was difficult to land my first full time job after that, but thanks to the wonderful people at HSU and the Richardson Library, they offered me a position, in which I am very happy to have accepted!
