HSU was my first and only choice when I came here as a student in the fall of 2002. The smaller campus and close-knit environment really made me feel at home. From the beginning, I made friendships that continue to this day. After graduating with my Bachelors degree in 2006, I went on to pursue other endeavors. But always felt a call to come back and serve the university that had given me so much over the years. I feel truly blessed to be a part of the university as a staff member.

I am originally from Houston. But since coming to school at HSU, Abilene has really become my home. I worked as a Resident Assistant on campus for three years before graduating. I met my wife, Crystal, while participating in the University Ministry at Pioneer Drive Baptist Church. I also got a phenomenal Business degree to boot. Since graduating from Hardin-Simmons, I have worked in both Sales and Finance here in Abilene before coming back to serve as Dorm Director of Anderson Hall.
