The atmosphere at HSU is one of caring, compassion, and faith. I knew in my heart when I walked on campus with my daughter for a tour that this was the place for both of us. I am so glad to be able to serve the faculty, staff, and students. I feel that I am truly blessed to be a part of the HSU family!

Married 20 years, with three children. I have worked for the state of Texas for the last 17 years.

I was at the Department of Human Services for 5 years and at the Attorney General’s Office for 12 years.

My whole family is involved at Broadview Baptist Church in Abilene. I teach Wednesday night for 1st and 2nd grade, involved in VBS and other committees.
