Accepting a position at HSU was an answer to prayer for me and my family. I have only been here a short time, but I have discovered it is a great place to work. There is such a “family atmosphere”—I was welcomed to my “new family” on the first day, and continue to meet new family members each day! Everyone is so friendly and helpful, and I can truly see they enjoy what they do!

Prior to coming to HSU, I worked four years at Hawley High School. I served in many capacities, including being the Drill Team and Varsity Cheerleading Sponsor.

I have been married to my husband, Martin, for 22 years and we have three wonderful children—Brody (18), Spencer (13), and Rylee (9). We live in Hawley and attend Clearfork Baptist Church there.

I have been on the Hawley PTSA Executive Board for 11 years, serving in multiple positions. I am currently serving as Vice President. I have also served on the Abilene District PTA Board. I am very involved in my children’s lives and do my best to be their biggest fan!

I am proud that my son Brody attends HSU. It’s kind of funny...we went to high school for four years together and now we’re going to college together.
