It is so amazing to me how the Lord has blessed my life through Hardin-Simmons. As a senior in high school, I think I applied to every school in Texas except HSU. Then someone told me that I needed to give it a chance. The minute I stepped foot on campus I fell in love and knew this is where I belonged. As a student at Hardin-Simmons I was immediately wrapped up in all the opportunities of involvement. I participated in the theatre, intramurals, student activities, the spurs dance team, student congress, a social club, and new student orientation. I have poured so much of myself into this school and it has given me back more than I ever imagined. Every day I meet new people because of the friendly and inviting atmosphere. I have made friendships that will last a lifetime and have earned an amazing education that has prepared me for my future career goals. I could tell stories forever of all the fun and crazy memories that I have from this school. I love it so much that I have decided to pursue my Masters in Family Psychology at HSU. Working in Enrollment Services is a huge blessing because I have such a desire for everyone to have an amazing college experience like mine. These past years have truly been the greatest of my life!
