Looking back, when I came to Hardin-Simmons in the fall of 2002 as an anxious freshman, I had no idea what my future at HSU would entail. Now, having recently graduated, I can honestly say that the memories and the relationships I have made here have helped shape me into the person that I am today. Hardin-Simmons has truly been a blessing to my life in so many ways. I love the friendly family atmosphere and the beautiful campus. I love that everywhere I go, I see a familiar face. I love that my professors knew who I was, and that I was not considered just a number in a class. Most of all, I love the social life at Hardin-Simmons; hanging out in “the sub’, being a part of a women's social club, and making friendships that will last a lifetime. I have been blessed by Hardin-Simmons in the past, but even more so I look forward to what is in store for me at HSU in the future.

I came to HSU in 2002 after graduating from Brownwood High School. I was born and raised in Brownwood, with the exception of five years that I lived in Abilene and attended Wylie Schools. I graduated from Hardin-Simmons in December of 2006 with a degree in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations and Advertising. Throughout my college career I worked on campus in Enrollment Services as a staff assistant. Upon graduation, I took on a full time position as the Enrollment Services Receptionist and am excited about my continued association with a school that I love so dearly!
