When I stepped on the Hardin-Simmons campus for the first time during Fall Preview of 1998 I knew this was exactly where I was supposed to spend my next four years as a college student. I had such a wonderful college experience, and I’m so glad I get the opportunity to share with students on a daily basis all that HSU has to offer so they can hopefully have a one-of-a-kind experience as well. HSU is a unique family environment made of students, faculty, and staff who all have the common goal of serving God in their daily lives. I have yet to find anything like it elsewhere. Fellow students become life-long friends and professors become mentors and role models. Knowing that you have a place at Hardin-Simmons, and you are genuinely cared for is an indescribable feeling. I am so thankful for the friends I made, the wisdom I gained, and the memories I will treasure for years to come.
