The beauty of our campus, the integrity of our administration, faculty and staff, the institutional commitment (an Education Enlighten by Faith), and the students I work with make each and every day such an incredible experience. That is why I love HSU.

Coming to HSU was much unexpected. My husband was commissioned by the United States Army to head the Department of Military Science back in the early ’90s. Little did I know at that time, that HSU would become THE place for me to continue my profession and nourish me as a Christian. Working in Higher Education for over 25 years, I can honestly say, I have reached career nirvana.

Education: BS from Rutgers University and MS from Virginia Tech Married to (retired) LTC Samuel J, Carroll, Assistant DA for Taylor County.
