• Work Study

All students are eligible for the HSU work program. Students with financial need may qualify for the federal or state work study job programs.

Eligibility does not guarantee a job. Students may review job listings on HSU Central. When hired, students must submit I-9 forms and W-4 forms before beginning work. Identification documents are required as part of the I-9 procedure; such as driver license w/photograph and Social Security card.

If employed, a student will receive a bi-weekly paycheck for actual hours worked, so work study awards are not deducted from a student’s bill.

Students may work a maximum of 15 hours per week, and must be enrolled full-time. Access the Work Study application and employment opportunities.
