The School of Music promotes creative and culturally enriching experiences with degrees offered in performance, education, music marketing, and church music. HSU’s choirs, bands, opera, and orchestra have performed to local, national, and international acclaim. Our graduates have established successful careers as performers, composers, church musicians, and educators. The School of Music has been affiliated with the National Association of Schools of Music since 1930 and is affiliated with the Texas Association of Music Schools.
