HSU is an awesome place to be and is such a special place in my life. My husband and I were married on campus at the Gazebo by the pond in 1991. Doc Beazley officiated our wedding. Our son and daughter-in-law attended HSU. Now teaching at HSU is like coming home. We are a family here. As a student, you receive quality education provided by Christians who care about their students. Smaller classes mean students are not just some random face or number, but someone that the faculty takes the time to get to know and care about. I also love feeling the Lord’s presence on this campus. It is great to be able to pray with my students and colleagues. I also love the diverse population and exposure to the world on a small and safe campus. The diversity of the students, faculty, and staff enhance the overall learning and life experience. Hardin-Simmons is a welcoming and warm place to be. Our campus is beautiful with its green grass, trees, flowers, and the ducks in the pond. HSU has it all! The athletic programs, music programs, chapel services, and numerous student and social club opportunities are awesome. I have received so much from HSU. It is nice to be part of the ongoing legacy. Go HSU!
