Why I love HSU: HSU has become my “home away from home,” complete with good colleagues and kind, caring students. When I have time, it is great to take advantage of anything from the HSU weight room for staying fit, to a good drama at the theatre. Folks know who I am and celebrate with me in good times while praying for and coming to my aid in troubled times. All this and I also get paid!
I spent 21 years teaching English and Spanish in public secondary schools and loved every minute of it. At HSU since 1989, I have enjoyed the academic environment and the opportunity of taking students abroad, most recently to Spain and London in 2005.
