I have been a part of the HSU “family” since 1979. It has been a wonderful part of a lifetime career in teaching, which has included teaching at the secondary level in health, physical education, and science, as well as university level teaching at McMurry University, the University of Georgia, West Texas State University (now West Texas A&M), and then HSU. I love the challenge of being a part of the life and growth of our wonderful students. I feel called to help them find meaning and purpose in their lives, as I have in my career. We are so blessed with quality young people who challenge me daily and help me want to give them the best that I have to offer. I also treasure the colleagues with whom I am privileged to share in our mission. They truly are our HSU “family”. I am proud to say I am a professor at Hardin-Simmons University. It has enriched my life and the life of my family for 28 years.
