Our size allows students and faculty to get to know each other much better than they are able to on larger campuses. I meet my students as freshmen and work with them throughout their time at HSU. I enjoy seeing them grow, learn, and mature during their college years. The HSU experience is about more than just attending and passing classes. HSU has many opportunities to become involved in extracurricular activities—social, service, professional, athletic, ministry, and recreation. A large percentage of our student body is involved in student activities and organizations. At HSU, true and long-lasting friendships develop both in and out of class.
