The words of Martin Luther King, JR., “Intelligence plus character—that is the true goal of education” reflect the mission of Hardin-Simmons University. If students leave our classrooms knowing the material we’ve taught, that’s good . If they leave knowing the material and are inspired to be more generous, kind, just, and merciful to all, that’s even better. At HSU we have a God given opportunity to bring the light of Christ into each and every class and to encourage all of our students to go forth in peace and love to serve the Lord.
