As an accreditation visitor for my professional organization, I have had the privilege to visit many universities across the country. I can honestly say that HSU has a uniquely different atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at home and a part of its extended family. Besides the abundance of cactus and beautiful sunsets found in West Texas, my favorite things are the outward signs of joy that I had not experienced elsewhere, including the laughter, singing, and close fellowship among students, faculty, and staff. Those things make it easy to get up and come to work each day. In addition, I would rate the physical therapy program at HSU among the best in the country in terms of the faculty’s commitment to student mentoring, community outreach, and graduate success. I feel blessed that God finally led me here and hope He does the same for you!
