Dr. Doug McIntyre

Dr. Robert Douglas McIntyre, associate professor of business
administration, is a graduate of Angelo State University where he earned the
Bachelor of Science degree in business education. He completed his graduate
studies at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, receiving the
Master of Education degree and Doctor of Philosophy degree in human resource
development.
Prior to coming to HSU, McIntyre completed a 23-year career
in banking and financial services, concentrating on both trust and commercial
banking. He has managed real estate portfolios exceeding $500,000,000 and
covering 600,000 acres.
McIntyre has extensive experience in budget management,
personnel management, loan and real estate portfolio management, as well as
substantial experience serving nonprofits throughout the state of Texas.
Additional experience includes farm and ranch appraisal and consulting work.
He is active in the community and also enjoys steer and team
roping, and in his spare time can be found in his arena with his horses.
