Dr. Nancy Kucinski

Dr. Nancy E. Kucinski, Hemphill Endowed Chair of Business
and professor of management, serves as dean of Graduate Studies and program
director for the Acton MBA in Entrepreneurship.
Kucinski is a graduate of HSU, where she earned a Bachelor
of Behavioral Science degree in political science. She went on to complete a
Master of Public Administration and a Ph.D. in political science from Texas
Tech University.
After teaching political science at the University of North
Texas, Kucinski returned to the classroom as a student to earn a Ph.D. in
organization, strategy, and international management for the University of
Texas at Dallas.
Kucinski is the author of “Phoenix Magazine,” a case study
published in the Journal of Critical
Incidents, fall 2009, “International Studies at Salzburg College,” in International Academy for Case Studies, fall
2011, and “Organizational design and the Growing Company: Growing Pains,” in AbileneBiz, fall 2009.
Kucinski is a Fulbright Senior Specialist and is also an
invited lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences in Salzburg, Austria,
where she teaches in the international studies program in tourism.
Kucinski has been a professor at Hardin-Simmons University
since 2001.
