Mr. Wade Ashby, assistant professor of computer science, works in the Computer Science are of the Kelley College of Business.

He graduated with a computer science degree from Angelo State University before going on to Logsdon Seminary where he obtained a Masters of Divinity.  He then completed a second graduate degree from The Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech).

Before holding a faculty role at Hardin-Simmons, Ashby has served as the Director for Academic Technology and Director of Online Education at HSU.  He has years of IT experience as well as software development.

Currently Ashby serves as a member of the Day Nursery of Abilene Board of Directors.
