Dr. Randy Armstrong
Dr. Randy Lee Armstrong, professor of communication and
associate dean of the Cynthia Ann Parker College of Liberal Arts at HSU, is a
graduate of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, where he earned the
Bachelor of Arts in journalism and drama. He completed his Master of Arts
degree at Texas Tech University in advertising and public relations and a
Doctor of Education degree at Texas Tech University in communication.
Armstrong is also co-founder and co-director of Four-O
Publishing, established in 1988. He is a member of American Journalism
Historians Association, Public Relations Society of America (Fort Worth
Chapter), PRO of Abilene, the Texas Association of Deans of Liberal Arts &
Sciences, and the Book Club of Texas.
Armstrong joined the Hardin-Simmons University faculty in
August of 1976.
