It is our goal to provide efficient and accurate mail service to the university and surrounding community and to provide you with information about various mailing services.
The campus Post Office provides many services of the U.S. Postal System, including purchase of stamps and money orders, priority and express mail services, certified and insured services, and mailing of packages.
The campus Post Office cannot accept payment for UPS or FedEx services but can be used as a drop off point (mailing point) for pre-paid packages of those carriers.
Beginning in August:
All students, faculty, staff and student representatives will be required to check their mailboxes by opening the mailbox door using the combination. Postal duties are delayed for the whole campus when we meet requests to check mailboxes for patrons.
The exception would be for anyone with a physical limitation that requires help with your box.
If you have a broken lock, we will change or fix it promptly.
If you need your combination, we will be glad to write it down for you.
I believe this small effort on your part will improve mail room efficiency and prevent you and others from standing in line needlessly.
Thank you for your help.
