The Abilene Summer Music Festival Orchestra Camp is dedicated to enriching the quality of life in West Texas by providing orchestra and chamber concerts of great music, and providing educational opportunities for young musicians through advanced instruction in a supportive environment.

Due to a scheduling conflict at Hardin-Simmons University, the instructional portion of the ASMF (Sunday, June 13 through Friday, June 18) will be held at Cisco College in the summer of 2010. The festival will continue to be a fully HSU-sponsored activity, and we anticipate that many faculty members of the 2009 ASMF will return for the ASMF's tenth anniversary. While faculty and student concerts during the week will take place at Cisco College, the Grand Finale concert (Saturday, June 19) will return to the Abilene Civic Center. Please continue to watch the ASMF website for periodic updates concerning details on tuition, concert dates and locations, transportation and various other logistical issues.
