I have found that HSU provides a unique and dynamic opportunity for students to obtain their higher education in a Christian environment which nurtures the mind as well as the spirit.

Cowboy band

HSU’s World Famous Cowboy Band was founded in 1923 and has marched in Presidential and gubernatorial inaugurations, at nationally televised football games, and a host of parades and other festivities. Will Rogers soon became a friend and supporter of the Cowboy Band in the mid-twenties. They named him an honorary member of the band and since then the Cowboy Band has been earning the love and following of supporters everywhere!
