10:45-12:30 Reunion Reception and Registration in the Dyess Visitor Welcome Center (Hunter Hall). Bring HSU related items to place on the Golden Memories Table.
12:30-1:30 Lunch on your Own. You can experience the HSU cafeteria, open 11:00-1:30. For the special Golden Reunion voucher price of $5.25 (pay as you go- cash only).
1:45-2:00 Self-Guided Tour of Logsdon Chapel. Can you find all the symbolism in the stained glass?
2:00-3:45 Trolley Tour of the HSU Campus. Departs from Logsdon School of Theology (West Chapel Entrance). Highlights include the Beazley White Horse Center and Holland Health Sciences. Tour concludes at Band Hall
4:00-4:45 Private concert by the HSU Cowboy Band (there’s room for everyone!).
6:00- Dinner and Golden Lariat Society Induction in Johnson Building with emcee Palmer McCown.

6:30-9:00 Breakfast On Your Own. Full complimentary breakfast buffet is provided for Hampton Inn & Suites (I-20) guests as well as other Golden Reunion attendees (all hotels provide some form of breakfast).
9:20 Meet down front in Behrens Chapel on the HSU campus. Leadership students will be in Behrens to greet you.
9:30-10:00 Special 1961 Class Reunion Program in Behrens Chapel with classmate Dr. Dan Yeary, pastor of North Phoenix Baptist Church as guest speaker.
10:00-10:10 Founders Day Observance in Behrens Chapel. This annual tribute to some of the early-day leaders and benefactors of HSU was begun in 1938.
10:20-10:30 Class Photograph. Taken on stage in Behrens Chapel.
10:30-11:00 Visit the Alumni Wall. Find your name and create a wall rubbing to take home. Shop at the HSU Bookstore, roam the campus, or simply sit and visit.
11:30-2:00 Reunion Luncheon, Johnson Building first floor. President Dr. Lanny Hall will present the Class of 1961 members with special Golden Reunion Medallions, a gift from Hardin-Simmons University. Our emcee will be classmate Will Wilkins.
