50 Year Reunion

                                                              January 2011

Dear HSU Classmate,

Each spring, Hardin-Simmons University hosts a Golden Reunion for the 50th anniversary class. We may not like to admit it, but this year it is our turn!

Our 50th Reunion – our Golden Reunion – at Hardin-Simmons University is Monday and Tuesday, April 18-19, 2011! The University and the Office of Alumni Relations give us their undivided attention so we anticipate two days filled with special events, memories and fun.

We will only do this once so we hope you’ll join us, as it will be wonderful to visit with you and to catch up on the years.

Events include our very own Palmer McCown as emcee for our Monday dinner, Dan Yeary as the speaker at Chapel on Tuesday, and Will Wilkins as our emcee at the Tuesday luncheon. Who would want to miss hearing these three?

Please encourage all your friends from our class to attend the Reunion. A personal call will do wonders (the Alumni Office can help you find phone numbers and addresses). We have the potential for the largest turnout of any of the 50-Year classes in some time because we feel we are a special class.

A registration form is enclosed, along with a biographical information update page. Please return both by Monday, March 28, to take advantage of the early registration price.

If you can’t attend, please still take time to fill out and return the biographical form. We will reproduce these in our Golden Reunion Memory Book. It is your way to join us. Use the Registration Form to purchase a copy of the Reunion Book.

Please help us contact lost classmates by providing information to the Office of Alumni Relations at (800) 460-3908 (in the Abilene area: 670-1317) or e-mail them to alumi@hsutx.edu.

We look forward to seeing you in April when we’ll have a tremendous 50th Class Reunion!
