My name is Hope Malone, and I am the admissions consultant for the Dallas, North Texas, East Texas, and Houston regions.
I began my college career in the fall of 2007. In May of 2011, I graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in marketing.
When I began at Hardin-Simmons, I didn’t know a single other person in the city of Abilene. I moved three hours away from home and took a leap of faith. I now consider that one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My involvement in activities, such as New Student Orientation, a social club, and theater, assisted in creating lifelong relationships and experiences that have shaped the person I am today. Not only did Hardin-Simmons provide me with an unbeatable education, but I was equipped with skills that prepared me for the future. It truly was, and continues to be, a huge blessing to my life.
I enjoyed the time I spent on the Forty Acres so much, that I wasn’t ready to leave! I am excited to give back to the university that gave so much to me, and I look forward to assisting you with your college decisions.
