More From Your Counselor:
Hi, my name is Justin Sizemore
and I am the Admissions Consultant for Abilene and the Big Country region.
I started my time at
Hardin-Simmons in the fall of 2010 and I graduated in May of 2013 with a
Bachelor of Behavioral Science in Psychology with minors in Religion and
I am originally from Wichita
Falls, Texas. Abilene, a large community with a small town feel, is similar to
where I called “home.” I was looking for a University that had a community-oriented
environment that challenged me both academically as well as spiritually. Hardin-Simmons
met those expectations and offered so much more. There are so many ways you can
get involved. I met an incredible group of friends at HSU and was able to
develop wonderful working relationships with my professors among other faculty
and staff. Hardin-Simmons has been tremendously important in my development as
a person. I gained a great education, I was challenged to think critically and
I was encouraged in my faith journey.
My time here on the “40 Acres” was great and
the community of Hardin-Simmons is one that I am so proud to have been a part
of as a student and now as a staff member. I hope your college experience is
the same. I would be more than happy to assist you in your college selection
and admissions process here at Hardin-Simmons. If you have any questions please
let me know.
