Undergraduate Admission:
Admission to the Honors Program requires approval by the Honors admissions committee. Formal application to the Program requires a written essay and a personal interview. Students who meet three of the four following minimal criteria will be invited to apply for admission to the Honors Program.

  1. Class rank in high school, top 10%
  2. High school GPA equivalent of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale
  3. Diversity demonstrated by extracurricular activities
  4. ACT score 25, or SAT score 1710
These criteria are minimal, and meeting them does not guarantee an interview. Interviews are by invitation only, and admission to the program is highly competitive.

Application for admission to the University and application for admission to the Honors Program are independent from each other. Applications must be made separately. Click here to apply to HSU.

The people at HSU are always so friendly and it feels like home. I have developed some of my greatest friendships through the ministry opportunities.
