Accreditation

The Patty Hanks Shelton School of Nursing programs are approved by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas, and the graduate is eligible to sit for the National Council of State Boards Examinations for licensure as a Registered Nurse (NCLEX-RN). The baccalaureate program and masters program are fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The School of Nursing is a member of the Southern Regional Education Board, the Southern Council on Collegiate Education in Nursing, and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.
