![]() Clell E.Wright Jr. Clell E. Wright, D.M.A. serves on the faculty of Hardin-Simmons University as Director of Choral Activities and Logsdon Professor of Church Music. Dr. Wright received his Doctorate of Musical Arts in Choral Conducting from the Conservatory of Music at the University of Missouri, Kansas City where he studied with the noted Dr. Eph Ehly and Dr. Charles Robinson. He received his Masters of Music in Choral Conducting and Church Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and his Bachelors of Music in Church Music from Samford University. Dr. Wright is active as a choral clinician and as a guest lecturer on music and worship. He has several articles on choral music and worship in print and he has spoken at TMEA and ACDA events and has served as guest clinician in high schools and middle schools across the state. He has also served as guest conductor for All-Region Honor Choirs. Dr. Wright’s choirs have toured nationally and internationally and have been recognized for their choral excellence and innovative repertoire. |
