Q: If I am accepted to the University, am I automatically accepted
into the School of Music? No. The School of Music requires a separate audition for admission. Those seeking a minor in music need not audition, unless you would like to be considered for a music scholarship.

Application to the School of Music can be completed online: Entrance Audition and Scholarship Application Form. In addition, you must submit TWO completed Recommendation
Forms, each to be filled out by a music professional familiar with your talents.

Q: Is
financial aid available in addition to music scholarships?
Yes.
There is financial aid money available for academic excellence and
class standing, among need based aid. For detailed information go

Do I need to audition in order to be considered for a scholarship?
Yes. Fill out the Entrance Audition and Scholarship Application Form.
In addition, you must submit TWO completed Recommendation Forms, each to be filled out by a music professional familiar with your talents. These forms must be submitted, either online or by mail, no later than 10 days prior to your audition date.
