Ronnie Prevost, Ph.D.

Dr. Prevost came to Logsdon in 1996 from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has also been on the faculties of Gardner-Webb University, Samford University, and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as President of the Religious Education Association for 2005-2006, and serves on the board of editors of the Internet database Christian Educators of the 20th Century and on the Board of Trustees of the Moscow Theological Seminary. Dr. Prevost has contributed articles to journals, co-authored A History of Christian Education (1993), and authored Evangelical Protestant Gifts to Religious Education (2000).
Dr. Prevost has served churches as a pastor and minister to youth, and he has been involved in mission projects in Nigeria, Russia, and the Caribbean. He continues serves churches in various interim ministry positions and in leading ministry conferences.
