Reading Enrichment Center
Is your child experiencing difficulties or possibly the famous "motivational" problem with reading?
Hardin-Simmons University EC-6 and 4-8 education majors will provide a reading camp experience for children in Kindergarten through eighth grades. Any students experiencing reading or motivation difficulties are encouraged to participate in the 1 ½-hour session on Mondays of each week from 5:00 – 6:30 pm. The 1 ½-hour session will include large and small group literacy instruction with one-on-one instruction time.
The total enrollment of K – 8th grade students participating will depend on the total number of HSU education majors enrolled in the university reading course. The fee is $60.00 per child. If you have more than one child participating, the fee for the remaining children would be $20.00 extra per child.
