Small Classes and Flexible Learning Options

Psychology degree classes have an average size of 20-30 students. Most of the courses are offered face to face at our main campus, but some are also available fully online and hybrid. You can choose from Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), or Bachelor of Behavioral Sciences (B.B.S.) degrees, and we also offer a psychology minor. Faculty advisors are here to help you identify which degree is best for your career goals.

Real-World Learning Opportunities

Our bachelor’s degree in psychology offers student-led research projects, as well as opportunities to collaborate with faculty on projects involving design, data collection, analysis, and presentation. Many of our psychology majors present their research at local or regional conferences. You also have the option of participating in an internship — an opportunity to earn course credit while gaining practical, hands-on experience in your field.

Faculty With Diverse Expertise

All psychology courses are taught by doctoral level faculty with degrees and expertise in the areas of clinical psychology, developmental studies, counseling, and family ministry. Instructors teach courses in both the undergraduate and the graduate psychology programs, allowing for more diverse faculty representation in each. All full-time faculty also advise and mentor students.
