Dr. Suarez teaching
During the Summer II session, The HSU Department of Foreign Languages welcomed Dr. Carolina Suárez from the Fundación Comillas (University of Cantabria), who taught history and culture to the Spanish 1402 and Spanish 2302 HSU classes. Carolina Suárez Hernán holds a Doctorate awarded by the Autonomous University of Madrid. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hispanic Philology. Dr. Suarez teaches General Linguistics, Introduction to the History of Spanish Literature, Introduction to the History of Latin American Literature, and Monographic Literature. She is currently involved in research regarding several aspects of Latin American literature, and comparative literature.
HSU students had the opportunity to be exposed to her peninsular accent and got the opportunity to interact with Dr. Suárez.
