Video Production

Fee Schedule:
Copy Work	DVD copy $15 per copy
Event Coverage	Event shooting- one camera $50 per event plus worker at $10 per hour
	Event shooting – multi-cam $75 per event plus worker at $10 per hour
Editing	Postproduction editing $50 per minute of finished product - This price reflects the time, research, editing, and “sweetening” work of the production person.
	Student worker as needed $10 per hour
Commencement Video	Copies of graduation DVD $20 each
Studio Use	Studio 207 is used for student academic production purposes. The following guidelines apply for video production contracts:
	Booking is done through Tim Chandler, chandler@hsutx.edu Billing for work is done when work is delivered
	A contract specifying details including fee schedule, delivery date, and contact persons will be used for all work
	All orders for copies are prepaid to the Department of Communication.

Media Workshop
Each fall and spring semester the Department of Communication offers Media Workshop as a one-hour elective for students interested in learning video production. Students in the class earn chapel credit for the class as the training involves filming the chapel services each week, as well as convocation and commencement.
