Research on invasion and spatial niche distribution in Jamaican Anolis lizards. Collaborating with Gary W. Ferguson (TCU)
- Faunal Surveys
Abilene State Park:Surveying the herptofauna of Abilene State Park with Tom Lee(ACU) and ecology students to develop checklists for The Texas Parks & Wildlife Department.
Dolan Falls Preserve:Assessing herptofaunal biodiversity and habitat association of this region owned by the Nature Conservancy of Texas. Collaborating with Tom Lee (ACU).

Environmental Monitoring. I am monitoring water quality in local streams feeding into the Hubbard Creek Reservoir Watershed in cooperation with The Hardin-Simmons University Environmental Sciences Center, The West Central Texas Municipal Water District, and The Brazos River Authority.
Research Experience
- Population Biology
Found external funding for dissertation research on The Cost of Reproduction in the Tree Lizard Urosaurus ornatus. Gathered demographic data and manipulated reproduction in natural populations and found field evidence for Costs of Reproduction {growth & survival costs}.
- Lizard husbandry and Insect identification
Lizard husbandry and field collection of Sceloporine lizards for Gary Ferguson and insect species identification from field samples for Glenn Kroh. Department of Biology, TCU.
- Conservation Biology
Mark-recapture status survey of a state endangered lizard species. Worked with the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish, and the United States Bureau of Land Management to survey declining lizard populations.
