With another week of final exams comes another Hardin-Simmons tradition: the Pancake Study Break. Pancake Study Break was held Sunday evening from 9 to 10.

Students enjoyed their time of food and some last minute fellowship before the semester ends, as well as some relief from all the studying. Junior Education Major Sarah Baker said she enjoyed the event.

“Pancake study break is at the perfect time,” she said. “I’ve been busy all day and there is just so much to study during finals week, so it’s fun to end the day on something fun.”

Many faculty, staff, and administration devoted their Sunday evening to serving the students.

“I volunteer to serve because the students work so hard this time in the semester and I want to make finals a little easier for them,” said Terri Prestidge, Office Manager of the Baptist Student Ministry. She added, “We really care about the students here.”

Students came to get a break from studying for finals and a yummy breakfast served by professors and staff of HSU while enjoying some fun moments with friends.
