HSU's Class of 2019 Sneak Peek: Allie Crossland

Hardin-Simmons is welcoming many new students this fall. Among the many that will shortly begin their college career, here’s a chance to get to know a new HSU cowboy.

Allie Crossland from Canton, Texas, plans to major in Education and will be running on the HSU track team. Crossland was very involved in high school; she was a member of the Lions Club, Spanish Club, FFA, FCA, Interact club, and participated in several sports. Crossland is no stranger to the challenges in life because just before Allie’s birth, her father and brother passed away within three months of each other, and the summer of her 8th grade year she and her mom moved from their hometown in Garland, Texas to Canton.

Now, ready to start the next stage in her life, Crossland said, “I’m excited about anything and everything. HSU gives so many opportunities in terms of networking, internships and job experience for students.”
