As the semester draws to a close Fresh Fest is held for freshman to come together again with their class and fellowship.

The first 100 students receive a colorful Fresh Feast shirt and can enjoy a coke float as they relax by the pool.

Lauren Hawkins, freshman education major from Abilene, said, “ I enjoyed fresh fest not only because of the free shirt and coke floats but because it was a great chance to take a break from studying for finals and just hang out with my friends.”

A few braved the chilly pool water, but most enjoyed relaxing and chatting with friends as their freshman year draws to a close.

Emily Fitzhugh, freshman social work major from Abilene, said, “I really enjoyed fresh fest because it was a chill atmosphere where students could relax and talk about their experiences at HSU.”
